While the kids were at school a few us piled in the car and headed up to Waco to explore the Children's Museum. I had not been there before. It was pretty cool. Spencer loved the big train exhibit they had and all the buttons that could be pushed.
Spencer loved playing bus driver, fireman, and cowboy. There were lots of rooms perfect for him to explore!
A lot of things are going to be out of order. As mentioned in previous posts this blog has been neglected for a long time. Somehow this pregnancy has wiped the energy and any sort of motivation out of me. I finally feel like I can start to sit down and catch up.
This school year we found 2 Fluhman's heading off to school!
This year I told Isaac he could finally have a "friend" party. So the Saturday right after his birthday we threw a little party. The ward we are in has a plethora of little 4 -5 year old boys. Just with the boys in his CTR4 class (which there are 2) there was well over 10. So needless to say we had ample little boys to invite.
I kept asking Isaac what kind of party he wanted. It changed daily....Angry Birds, Hot Wheels, Super Hero...but we finally settled on Legos. I was pretty happy. I was sure that with some help from my best friend pinterest, I too could throw a legit Lego party.
It doesn't seem like 5 years ago, that this little man joined our family. His adorable dimple, his big brown eyes, and his contagious smile. Nothing but LOVE for this little guy.
Once we got back from Utah we started up swim lessons. Thankfully I had been able to get all three kids in different classes at the same time. Spencer was not a huge fan at first. He squawked at the teacher every time she came near him, bless her heart. He slowly warmed up to the idea and eventually would do his "superman kicks". Isaac and Natali both really improved this year with their classes. Natali is still a little apprehensive of the deep end...and Isaac is a little to confident for my liking!
While in Utah we always try to take full advantage and see as many friends as possible. We aren't always successful, but this trip we were able to make it down south to spend some time with Jamie and the kids. We met up at the Dinosaur Museum. The kids had fun running around, seeing the dinosaurs, playing in the water and sand, and touching all the hands on exhibits. I tried to get them to slow down and really make it an experience (again...there is 4ht grade teacher...I actually took my students to this museum every year). But even at their quick pace they LOVED every second. (Except the part where Isaac feel backwards during the picture with the shark and gave himself a golf ball size goose egg on the back of his head)
